A massive thank you to all our clients w ho voted for us in the Group Travel Awards. After nearly 10 years in business we are proud to have such a loyal and fun group of tour organisers and we thank you for your business and continued support.
The award was, to say the very least, a massive shock. Having taken my bow tie off during dinner, which took me nearly half an hour to tie in the first place, I was stunned, to hear our name come up. In the same moment and en-route to the stage, I was horrified when it dawned on me that there was no was on earth I was going to have time to tie the bow tie again. So many apologies for looking a little scruffy in the pictures. My only regret was that Shauna, my long suffering business partner and close friend was not there to enjoy the moment with me. Next time!
WHO ARE SIMPLY GROUPS?
Simply Groups specialise in tailor making tours for private groups, clubs and associations as well as corporate and wholesale packages.
Shauna Potts & Simon Ayers, owners & directors have over 25 years experience in the group travel business. Both Shauna and Simon have lived and worked in countries throughout Europe and well as the United States and Australia as guides, representatives and even hotel manager during the early part of their careers. In more recent years they have utilised their knowledge and experience working in operational, sales and administrative capacities with a number of well knows UK based tour operators.
 At Simply Groups, Shauna and Simon have been successfully tailor making and operating private tours for over 9 years. The company however has no aspirations or becoming a large and impersonal tour operator as the service they offer to their clients is of paramount importance. This level of service can only be provided by close and regular contact with our clients and over the years Shauna and Simon have developed many close relationships which are respected and enjoyed. They understand that is is vital cients feel comfortable and confident in their abilities to provide the groups with exactly what is required in order for the tour to operate smoothly.
Joanne Wood and Kathryn Latta work alongisde Shauna in operations, assisting with tailor making each tour to suit the clients needs. This is the engine room, where the 'i's are dotted and 't's crossed to ensure that every aspect of your tour has been booked and confirmed in writing. Where your ticket packs are meticulously compiled to provide each member of your group with comprehensive information about every aspect of the tour.
Sue Harris joined the team in 2007, is a fully qualified accountant and deals with accounts and makes sure that our business partners both in the UK and on the continent are remunerated as per the terms and conditions of our reservations. A sometimes complicated and time consuming task, which is professionally managed and overseen by Sue.
