ITINERARY Day 1 You will board the cruise vesse l early in the evening. The crew will be introduced to you during the welcome meeting where you can enjoy a complimentary cocktail and you will then take your place in the restaurant for your first dinner on board. Overnight stopover. Day 2 - After a buffet breakfast on board, this morning will be devoted to an included tour of the capital. We will show you the city's mythical sights, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées. Lunch is taken on board before the cruise departs this afternoon. We will be passing by the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palais, the Orangerie, the Louvre and Notre-Dame Cathedral, which dominates the Ile de la Cité. We will cruise towards Conflans Sainte Honorine, which we will reach mid evening. Dinner is taken on board followed by a short walk around Conflans Sainte Honorine, which is accompanied by the cruise hostess. Overnight stopover. Day 3 - After a buffet breakfast on board we depart for the included visit to the Chateau of Auvers sur Oise, which is situated in a small village framed by its church at one end and its Château at the other, Auvers sur Oise is one of the mecca’s of French painting. Apart from the places, which commemorate Daubigny, Cézanne and Van Gogh, there is also a visitor trail which will take you on a "Journey in the time of the Impressionists". You will return to the boat for lunch before an included visit to the chateau of Versailles, which is one of the most famous and prestigious monuments in world heritage, as well as being the most beautiful and complete work of French art of the 17th century. During this time, the boat will sail on towards Paris. This evening there is a gala evening after dinner, as you arrive in the beautifully illuminated capital. Overnight stopover. Day 4 - After a buffet breakfast on board you will disembark. En route back to Calais we can offer optional excursions to either the stunningly beautiful Chateau Chantilly or the inspirational Museum of the Great War in Peronne (extra costs), depending on the interests of your group.
