THE THURSFORD COLLECTION Twenty nine years ago against the background of steam engines, mechanical organs and fairground rides, a small Christmas show took place, with eight choral scholars from Kings College Cambridge, singing a selection of John Rutter carols. It has now grown into the largest Christmas show in England. The Christmas Spectacular is the ultimate musical experience and one of the most exciting Christmas shows ever conceived. It is a blend of entertainment, songs, carols, dancers in amazing costumes and singing from a cast of over one hundred. Each show is a pageant of colour and spectacle with seamless transition from up-beat dance routines to choral renditions and would not be out of place in London’s West End theatres.
