Sunday Day 1 – Departing your allocated pick up point this morning we travel north, making a stop at Boundary Mills Grantham where lunch can be purchased and you might also choose to partake in a little retail therapy. Continuing onwards to North Yorkshire and the village of Grassington, an evening meal is included at the hotel.

Monday Day 2 – Breakfast included. Today begins by visiting Ripon, the Cathedral city of the Yorkshire Dales where they have welcomed worshippers, pilgrims and visitors to its peaceful sanctuary for over 1300 years. The Cathedral building itself is part of this continuing act of worship, begun in the 7th-century when Saint Wilfrid built one of England’s first stone churches on this site.
Returning to Grassington an ‘Afternoon tea’ style late lunch is included after which the remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore this picturesque village situated in the heart of ‘Calendar Girls’ country and which is the setting for the fictional town of ‘Darrowby’ in the new TV series of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’. For the more adventurous there are also some tranquil riverside walks which can also be enjoyed.
Dinner is included at the hotel tonight.

Tuesday Day 3 – Breakfast included. Today is dedicated to the Yorkshire Dales making a refreshment stop in the pretty market town of Settle. Continuing on to Hawes, you will see the famous Ribblehead Viaduct with its 24 arches before arriving in Hawes, known as the "little capital" of Upper Wensleydale, is Yorkshire's highest market town. Not only is it famous for its chocolate-box, picture postcard appeal, but also as the home of some of the most delicious cheeses to be made in Britain. Lunch can be purchased at the Wensleydale Creamery or in the town itself before we retrace our steps through the spectacular Dales countryside, home to the stunning ‘3 peaks’ and numerous pretty villages. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.

Wednesday Day 4 – Breakfast included. A short transfer takes you to Skipton, the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, with its colourful market, castle and canal. You will have the morning at your leisure when you may choose to visit the castle (local cost), or enjoy some retail therapy as Wednesday is market day. Lunch can be purchased here before we travel the short distance to Haworth, home of the Bronte sisters, where you may choose to visit the Brontë Parsonage Museum (extra cost), once home of the Brontë family. The Brontë collections at this museum are the largest and most important in the world and continue to inspire scholars, writers and artists.
Returning to the hotel your evening meal is included.

Thursday Day 5 – Breakfast included. Checking out of the hotel we begin the homeward journey, making a stop in the ‘Spa town of Harrogate’, famous for its horticulture, historic buildings, stunning scenery and natural springs. There will be a little free time here to explore or you may choose to visit RHS Harlow Carr Garden (entrance extra), located on the town’s outskirts. An early lunch can be purchased before retracing our steps, returning you to your original departure point(s) later today.
