Day 1 - Melton Mowbray has a long established association with fox hunting, pork pies and Stilton cheese and has a varied heritage. Melton's history is still evident today with buildings such as the Anne of Cleves' House, a gift from King Henry VIII to his divorced wife in the mid-16th century. Dickinson & Morris Bakery you will be given a demonstration on how pork pies are made. Ely is full of charm and beauty and is home to one of the most magnificent cathedrals in England. Nestled in the Fen countryside, this small city in East Cambridgeshire is rich in history, charm and beauty. Ely Cathedral which is known locally as the 'Ship of the Fens' and is famous for its unique Octagon tower.

Day 2 - 1.5 hour cruise on The Southern Comfort a double-deck paddle boat that has been purpose built for the Broads. This boat is a luxury river cruiser which runs regular trips from the beautiful village of Horning, passing picturesque old thatched houses, windmills and the Norfolk reed beds. Throughout the trip there is an excellent commentary and observations about all the water birds around at the time. Blickling Hall & Estate (NT).  Embark on a voyage of discovery and follow four centuries of history, from the Boleyn family to the RAF and Second World War. Learn what life was like as a servant and hear the stories of the real people who kept Blickling going.

Day 3 - Royal Sandringham House is the Norfolk retreat of Her Majesty the Queen, which was built in 1870 and has been passed down through four generations of British monarchs. The house is surrounded by 60 acres of glorious gardens, and the museum features a collection of Royal cars as well as much more. Lavendar Fields discover the great tradition of English Lavender growing and visit the distillery, as you tour the local villages finding out about some of the folklore and legends. The tour will finish with an afternoon Cream Tea.

Day 4 - Norwich. Stamford is captured in time by its conservation status; this once major wool town has retained much of its old world charm and prosperity. Many of the buildings are constructed from old Lincolnshire limestone, hence the town's distinguished appearance and popularity with tourists and movie directors alike. Despite a modest population the town boasts 11 churches, 30 pubs & 20 restaurants and on a Friday it is also market day.
